Following the successful launch of the HP Envy notebook PCs, HP has released two new digital photo frames called the DreamScreen 100 and the DreamScreen 130. These frames are the latest additions to their Dreamscreen series, reports Cnet.

Well, these frames are also capable of connecting to a network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. The frames allow users to simply drag and drop files from the network.

These new DreamScreen photo frames are said to support video formats like MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 and H.264 as well as audio formats like MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV. With the help of its built-in speakers, users can play music in the background while displaying a slideshow. The frames also come embedded with support for Internet radio and Pandora’s streaming audio service. Both the frames flaunt a resolution of 840 x 480 pixels and support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 10/100 LAN, built-in memory card reader and USB port. Users can also connect a headphone to these frames via the headphone out port that it features. Apart from this, DreamScreen frames also provide support for social networking sites like Facebook and Snapfish.

The 10.2-inch DreamScreen 100 is available for purchase online and is price tagged at $250 (approx. Rs. 12,040). This frame will be made available at retail outlets by October 11. The 13-inch DreamScreen 130 will retail for around $300 (approx. Rs. 14,450) and will be made available later this fall.
