The news from Sprint Nextel is that they’ve decided not to carry the Nexus One because the HTC EVO 4G would be a better choice for their customers. Sprint has also been marketing the EVO heavily, as it should. It will be the face of Sprint for the coming months. Not only is it the first 4G WiMAX phone, it also functions as a WiMAX personal hotspot.

“A Sprint Nextel spokeswoman says the wireless carrier concluded another new phone called the Evo would be a better choice for its customers.”
The HTC Evo 4G is a really powerful phone, and it’s going to be the Android phone to beat once it launches. Sprint originally announced plans to offer the Nexus One, but today they announced that they’re ditching the Nexus One and sticking to the award-winning HTC Evo 4G phone instead. Sprint is not the only carrier to do this. Verizon Wireless also ditched the Nexus One for their HTC Droid Incredible release.

At the same time as I really like a bodily keyboard, after managing the Samsung Captivate for roughly quarter-hour, it’s hard to go back. Presently I’m debating whether to visit Verizon for the Droid X, cross to Dash for the EVO, or stick with AT&T for the Captivate…decisions, decisions.
