Windows Mobile 7 is the latest Mobile OS from Microsoft revealed recently by Steve Ballmer at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it has Zune type interface, made simplified for social networking tasks and everyday mobile usage, additionally it comes with Office, Marketplace for apps and games, Internet explorer, Bing search and integrated support for Xbox Live.
The minimum requirements for Windows Phone 7 Series set by Microsoft for hardware manufacturers are:
- 5 MP Camera
- Capacitive multi-touchscreen
- Accelerometer
- FM Radio
- Powerful Processor and appropriate RAM
- Hardware manufacturers have to pass the strict benchmarks laid by Microsoft

The Manufacturers that will built Windows Phone 7 based devices are HTC, LG, Toshiba, Lenova , Dell, HP, Sony Ericsson etc, so expect another war in smartphone market among the Apple iPhone, Google Phones and Windows Phones.
