Blogger.com is giving its publishers yet another way to earn extra income from their blog. Amazon.com Associates, an affiliate program renowned for its e-book recently integrated its Product Finder widget directly into Blogger.com’s platform. This means that blogger publishers can now directly access and add this widget via Blogger, no need to go to Amazon.coms site and get the code.

Amazon product finder enables you to search for products within Blogger’s interface, and create links and product images without having to leave the page. Its basically a widget that will allow you to display a wide range of Amazon.com’s products. It will also give your readers an option to search for a product.

How to add this widget:

1. Log in to your Blogger.com account.

2. From the dashboard, choose the blog that you want your Amazon Product finder to appear then click monetize.

3. Under Monetize Tab, click “Amazon Associates”, click on “I already have an Amazon.com Associate ID” then type in your existing Amazon ID or set up an Amazon Account if you don’t have one yet.

4. Click “Set up amazon associates”.

5. Click “Add the product finder” .

6. You are done, you can now add product finder everytime you create a new post.

One notable change in blogger’s interface after this integration is the Amazon Associates tab next to the new post editor. another change is the missing “add image” icon in the edit tab of the create new post page. You can only edit your image after you have uploaded it. A light blue pop up menu will provide you with the options to align your image and select a size.
