Opera is getting even better with the version 10.50 which has progressed to beta 2 and is looking promising, Opera claims it has the fastest JavaScript engine which helps in loading web applications and websites smoothly than ever before, new level of standard compliance like HTML 5 and CSS 3, Private Browsing, Opera Widgets, Integration with Windows 7 among many more.

A portable version of the popular fighting game Street Fighter 4 with lesser number of characters is headed to iPhone/iPod Touch and will hit the App Store next month. It will not contain all the players of the console version though, the characters available will be Ryu, Blanka, Chun-li, Dhalsim, Ken, M.Bison, Guile and Abel.

Windows Mobile 7 is the latest Mobile OS from Microsoft revealed recently by Steve Ballmer at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, it has Zune type interface, made simplified for social networking tasks and everyday mobile usage, additionally it comes with Office, Marketplace for apps and games, Internet explorer, Bing search and integrated support for Xbox Live.

Microsoft employee just posted details on Windows 8 on their blog, claiming it is going to be “completly different from what people usually expect of Windows,” and that internally, they’re calling it “Windows.next.”
Shown above is a leaked Windows server roadmap from a year ago, that marks 2012 as the year of a “major release,” with “codename – Windows 8″ mentioned.
We already knew Microsoft will be shifting its attention to Windows 8 this July, so although this latest slip-up doesn’t elucidate much, at least we can think about what the employee means by a “completly different” Windows. Does he mean it won’t have a built-in spellchecker?

Following the steps of Yahoo, Microsoft has also released its thoughts in a statement regarding Google’s new social networking service for Gmail and mobile smartphones, Google Buzz. Echoing the statement by Yahoo, Microsoft says that they also incorporated features from social websites like Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, and 75 other services on Hotmail back in 2008.
