Samsung has launched its much awaited Galaxy tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 in India and renamed it Galaxy Tab 750 and Galaxy Tab 730 respectively.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 and Galaxy Tab 730 are powered by Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor and features a 1GB RAM, 16GB memory, up to 32GB expandable memory, 3 MP rear camera with flash, 2 MP front camera, and ability to record 1080p HD video. These Tablets also supports high speed HSPA+ network speed of up to 21 Mbps, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Social Hub, and readers Hub. The tablets also feature Abode Flash 10.2, Google Mobile Services, Microsoft Exchange Sync and social networking integration.

BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 coming soon in India

Research In Motion (RIM) is going to launch seven smartphones in India very soon. The BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 smartphone, which is the thinnest smartphone from RIM yet, is one of them and getting ready for a launch in the second week of August. It seems that the company is trying to reassure that it is still in the game.

The Bold Touch 9900 will be bundled with BlackBerry OS 7, which is RIM’s latest version of the system. The 2.8-inch screen will sport 640 x 480 pixels. It’s a capacitive touch screen, making the 9900 a handset of the touch and type variety. The standard QWERTY keyboard looks classic RIM style and although the Torch 9800 (retailing for about Rs. 27,000) could be considered their first dual input styled device, the 9900 has taken a slightly different route.
